Dave Hyem spent a long career at the Boeing Company first as an engineer on the 747 program followed by numerous leadership roles in engineering and operations culminating in the role of Vice President leading several Boeing factories across North America and Europe.
After his retirement from Boeing in 2020 Dave has dedicated his time serving in the community and helping those coming behind develop their skills in an increasingly complex business world. Dave joined the board of the Oregon Military Museum Project in October 2023. In addition, Dave serves on the boards of the TWI-Institute, the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center and the Boeing Leader Network. Dave is a guest lecturer at various universities on the subjects of leadership and operations management. Dave also dedicates his time mentoring early career business leaders and local high school students.
Hyem received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Montana State University and has completed programs through the Advanced Management Program at Duke University. Hyem is a licensed Professional Engineering in the state of Washington.
