Gary Maffei

Gary R. Maffei, born in Portland, OR, graduated from Central Catholic High School and Portland State University.  Retired from his career job as the head of Human Resources at Louisiana Pacific Corporation and Vice President of the Merlo Corporation, a privately held family investment company with interests in lumber, wine, aviation and real estate.  He is also retired as Trustee of the Merlo Foundation. He currently sits on the business boards of Portland Bottling, Lucky Limo Co. and Randall Investment Group.  His many community activities include current non-profit boards of New Avenues for Youth, Park Academy, Our House, President of Portland 5 Foundation and Oregon Portland Broadcast (OPB).
